Feline Yogi Welcomes our new Catstomers!

Greetings Felines and the humans who serve you!

It’s Pippy the Feline Yogini here and I’m happy to report we are growing and bringing  in lots of new customers or catstomers as I like to call them!  We are not only on Etsy these days but The Grommet, Amazon, Modern Cat, and various other boutique sites such as Hauspanther and My Three Cats & Co!

Whether you are new to Feline Yogi or old friends, please know that we are committed to making an excellent yet safe and fun product for cats everywhere. When creating the Yoga Cat Mat, we tested it out on numerous kitties, and we consulted the advice of cat lovers and veterinarians.

TTPM (Toys, Tots, Pets, & More) which  gives you honest reviews of family products including toys, baby products, pet toys, kids’ electronics, video games, books, mobile apps, and more gave us  a paws up and they named us as one of the “Most Wanted Cat Toys of 2015” . Tortitude: The BIG Book of Cats with a BIG Attitude

Tortitude FC

Greetings Felines and Greetings to the humans who serve you!

What do I love as much as yoga? The answer would be books about cats! And boy do I have a wonderful one to tell you about.

My human and I recently had the honor to read Tortitude: The BIG Book of Cats with a BIG Attitude by Ingrid King. Not only is it an excellent and informative read but the physical book is gorgeous as well. It is beautifully designed and  includes pictures of some of the most gorgeous tortes ever! My human has the book nicely displayed on her desk and likes to take breaks from her work so she can  ooh and aah at the pictures of all the adorable torte kitties.

I on the other hand know my species is adorable so I was more interested in reading about tortoiseshell cats and what makes them unique. Ms.King does a great job in paying tribute to one of the most feisty, unpredictable, and fiercely independent felines in the domestic cat kingdom. Her book goes into great depth on the unique genetics and what makes a torte a torte! Not only are the personalities of tortes special but the coat color as well plays a large part. A torte is not a breed and tortoiseshell markings can be found in many breeds including the Abyssinian, British short hair, Somali, Siamese, Sphinx, and many  many more. I could go on and on but I don’t want to give too much away because I want you to read this beautiful tribute to these very special cats.

After reading the book, my human told me I was probably a torte. I told her to email and ask Ms.King of which she did. I already knew the answer but I thought it best she hear it from someone other  than me. She was told that I am a torbie! A torbie is a tortie with tabby stripes.  There are other torbes featured in the book including Artoo and Grit and if you get the book, you can see what I’m talking about.  My human then told me I was a real piece of work! I just rejoiced inside and acknowledged to myself that my work is done! She finally gets what I’m about!

Yes, I have Tortitude!

The Yoga Cat Mat is Launching on The Grommet Today

Pippy the CEO (Cat Executive Officer) of Feline Yogi and I have some exciting news today! We just launched the Yoga Cat Mat on The Grommet Today!

The Grommet is the online launch platform for early stage consumer products from independent Makers.  Since 2008, more than 60,000 products have been evaluated by The Grommet. The Feline Yogi Yoga Cat Mat is one of only 2000 products -or 3% of all products considered. This is an important step for Pippy and me as we continue to develop our product and business.

The Grommet launches undiscovered products and helps them succeed. Grommets are products with purpose by people with stories to help us all Buy Differently. The Grommet launches new products every day at noon EST and today we are the featured product! The Grommet is  like ABC’s Shark Tank but consumers decide what will be a success.

Feline Yogi Yoga Cat Update

I practice yoga everyday!

Yoga Cat and Master Feline Yogini Pippy

Greetings Felines and the humans who serve you!

Feline Yogi has taken quite a hiatus and it has been several months (in reality well over a year!) since we’ve last blogged. I know many of you follow us on Instagram, the social media outlet we are most active on. Between making the Yoga Cat Mat, managing our business, and of course making time for our own yoga practice, we just have not had the capacity to blog as much.

Although we will not be blogging every day, we will be updating this blog much more often in the days ahead. Sometimes to let you know of something exciting that is happening and other times to share some pictures of our wonderful feline catstomers practicing their yoga on the Feline Yogi Cat Mat.

Speaking of cats practicing their yoga on the Feline Yogi Yoga Cat Mat, here’s a picture of the very accomplished Fredrick about to practice downward facing cat pose!
